CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2023 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS!

SIEC awarded four $2,000 scholarships to area high school seniors in May. From Van Buren County: Nehemiah Westercamp is a graduate of the Iowa Connections Academy with co-curricular at Van Buren County High School. He is the son of Steven and Christine Westercamp, and plans on attending Iowa State University for animal science. From Davis County: Luke Miller is a graduate of Davis County High School. He is the son of Ryan and Kristy Miller, and plans on attending Indian Hills Community College, the University of Iowa, and Carver Medical School for Chemistry/Pre-medicine, then medical school. From Wapello County: Rachel McFarland is a graduate of Davis County High School. She is the daughter of Jeremy and Lindsay McFarland, and plans on attending the University of Iowa for accounting/business. Our line technician scholarship went to Michael Early. Michael is a graduate of Davis County High School and is the son of Kevin and Audra Early. He plans on attending Northwest Iowa Community College for powerline technology.
